The Priority Opportunity Score, Key Opportunity Scores, Priority Value Factor and Key Value Factors are from herein called the Famous 4.
We call them this, because focus on them and they’ll have the potential to make you and your business famous.
In plain English the Famous 4 are
- Priority Opportunity Score - the most important and least satisfied jobs/outcomes – need to provide a lot better
- Key Opportunity Scores – the 5 next most important and least satisfied jobs/outcomes – need to provide a lot better
- Priority Value Factor – the most important job/outcome (may or may not be well satisfied) – need to provide slightly better/same or less depending on satisfaction level
- Key Value Factors – the 5 next most important jobs/outcomes (may or may not be well satisfied) – need to provide slightly better/same or less depending on satisfaction level
Your entire Product Value Line should be focused on out executing in these areas by better matching the Consumers Value Line. Innovation and creation of value will be centred around them, your brand, marketing communications and communications strategy focused upon them, and your delivery and support strategies tailored to boost them. Your measuring and monitoring strategy and systems will prioritise them, and you will do everything to sustain them.
